Quail Cruises is a new Spanish company operating three cruise ships. MV Gemini (ex-Star Cruises SuperStar Gemini), MV Ocean Pearl and MV Pacific (ex-Princess Cruises Pacific Princess). MV Pacific is currently operated by CVC Viagens in Brazil during the Southern summer and by Quail Cruises in Spain during the Northern Summer. The company went out of business in September 2011. All three ships have been sold to other companies and eventually for scrap

MV Gemini: (formerly SuperStar Gemini of Star Cruises): built 1992, 19,093 gross tons, 800 passengers, 385 crew members.
Itineraries: Mediterranean out of Barcelona and Valencia - Spain; Mediterranean/Adriatic out of Piraeus (Athens) - Greece.

MV Ocean Pearl (formerly R5 of Renaissance Cruises): Marshall Islands registered, built 1971, 30,277 gross tons, 1,070 passengers, 450 crew members.
Itineraries: Mediterranean out of Barcelona and Valencia - Spain. Mediterranean/Adriatic out of Venice - Italy.

MV Pacific (formerly Pacific Princes of Princess Cruises): Bahamas registered, built 1971, Completely Refurbished 2009, 20,636 gross tons, 658 passengers, 358 crew members.
Itineraries: Mediterranean out of Spain.
