Description:

Job Title: Chief Electrician

Department: Engine

Reports to: Chief Engineer

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the entire electrical and electronic system as well as the associated systems on board, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Familiarization with the SMS – Safety Management System and Company policies and procedures

Education/Experience

Valid STCW 95 Certifications

Appropriate licences and certificates as required by regulations

Extensive experience in similar position on board ships

Good knowledge of AMOS

Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Physically and medically fit

Moral integrity required
