Sous Chef - Motor Yacht
Luxury 100m+ Motor Yacht looking for a skilled Sous Chef with a background in high calibre restaurants and cruise ships or yachts.
The candidate must have strong management experience because they will be taking over as Executive Chef for 4 months of the year.
Start: May or June 2013
Salary: Industry leading salary to be discussed fully at interview
Rotation: 4 months on 2 months off
•Exceptional culinary knowledge, style and presentation skills, including a broad knowledge of international cuisine and techniques.
•Must be able to perform both independently and as a part of a team and must have a high level of self-initiative.
•Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills which can be applied in all situations and with all crew.
•Possesses a highly developed eye for detail and standards in relation to all aspects of the galley's activities.
•Must have the motivation, capacity and adaptability to operate effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment.
•High calibre restaurant experience is expected - Michelin star level
•Super Yacht experience is highly preferred, 5 start or above Cruise ship experience is useful
•STCW95 and ENG1 medical
•B1/B2 Visa useful
