Junior Chef de PartieDescription: We are currently recruiting Junior Chef de Parties to work on-board for our European client, operating 4 and 5* cruise ships. Rotation: 6 months on, 2 months off Salary: £2026 per month on-board Various start dates within the upcoming weeks. The Job •Working as part of a team of 165 chefs, catering for 1000+ covers per sitting •Working on a smaller team of 15-20 Junior Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Trainee Commis Chefs within a specific area of the galley •Providing professionally prepared meals according to the Corporate Menu Cycle •Min. 10 working hours per day The Candidate •Prior experience within either a 4 or 5* hotel, a rosette standard or Michelin starred restaurant, or cruise line •Must hold NVQ III Food Production Qualification, City & Guilds 706 1/2 or other relevant qualification/apprenticeship •It is also advantageous to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate •Must speak, read and write English fluently •Experience working within a fine dining and high volume environment •Organised with an eye for details Uniform is provided on-board, but chefs are welcome to take their own knives.
