2nd Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)Description: To be considered you should hold a qualification (ideally a degree or HND) in either Electronic Communications, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline. STCW Basic Training and Advanced Fire Fighting certificates would be desirable. We are looking for candidates who have shipboard experience of operating and maintaining a variety of electronic equipment to include: Marine Electrical Power Supply/Distribution systems Medium Voltage Switchgear PLC Control & Automation Systems A.C. Generators, Motors and Controls Safety Control and Management Systems, including watertight doors, fire detection and ESD systems Electronic Bridge Systems including integrated navigational control, radars, gyros, speed logs, echo sounders Communication Systems Management or supervisory experience Also desirable will be experience of operating and maintaining: Marine Engineering Systems Electric Propulsion Freshwater production, monitoring and treatment systems Waste-management systems Air-conditioning and refrigeration control and automation systems Elevators Hotel service and recreation equipment We will offer the right person an attractive remuneration package that includes an annualised salary paid in 12 monthly payments, rotations of 12 weeks on/6weeks off or option for 12 weeks on/12 weeks off after 12 months service, accompanied travel concessions (subject to 6 month’s service), inclusion in the Company Pension Scheme (subject to 1 year’s service) and secure employment with excellent promotion prospects Requirements: Apply |
