Overall objective - To ensure the ultimate guest experience onboard OCI vessels by aiding effective communication of information through all departments; Act as central point of reference for shipboard information and services offered to guests;

  • Assist Guests with routine queries and where possible, provide resolution to problems;

  • Ensuring compliance with policy in accordance with guidelines issued by OCI;

  • Ensure appropriate follow up on guest issues;




  • Worked in a luxury environment as Receptionist either land based or on a similar style ship

  • Understanding of the highest level of service;

  • Ideally fulfilled equivalent position on a medium+ sized ship

  • Well organized; a multi-tasker

  • Used to dealing with complaint handling

  • Used to dealing with special requests and used to achieving results

  • Great at customer service and building positive relations with guests and colleagues

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a pleasant working environment

  • Excellent administrative skills; computer literate – Word/Excel/Fidelio/MXP/and similar

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Outgoing personality, open minded and flexible;

  • Ability to work in an international environment; 

  • Excellent appearance
