Chef de Partie


Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, your cruise job will be helping to uphold our exacting culinary standards and enhance the cruise experience. Supervising the Demi Chefs de Partie and Commis de Cuisine, you’ll ensure that each understands their portion of the menu – from recipes to presentation. You’ll play an active role in food preparation, final cooking, garnishing and presentation, including the setting-up and re-supply of buffets, and will of course maintain all appropriate standards and procedures for handling, storage, recycling, safety and hygiene.

Degree educated in food management, you’ll have a good knowledge of basic food preparation, presentation and preservation, as well as Public Health/Sanitation. Well organised and able to work to deadlines, you’ll have a creative approach, a real passion for customer service and the confidence to train and motivate staff. It is also essential that you have a basic command of the English language.
