Chief Concierge


The Chief Concierge’s primary responsibility is to supervise and train company's Concierge team to ensure the highest standards of personalized service are achieved with arrangements for Destination Experiences, private arrangements and Concierge services.


- Manage the delivery of all Destination Experiences, transfers, private cars and shuttle services in a consistent manner, ensuring a fully trained escort accompanies all Destination Experiences
- Contribute to the development of the onboard product and our commitment to “bringing the destination alive” by creating and delivering events and experiences for Residents and Guests
- Excellent public speaking skills required to oversee and participate in the filming of the daily TV show, ensuring the Concierge segment is filled with pertinent information as well as introducing Port Lectures, delivering presentations at Resident Meetings, etc
- Actively develop and support relationship with Les Clefs d’Or organisation worldwide
- Anticipate the needs of Residents and Guests by ensuring personal preferences are communicated to the team and proactively
- Research and arrange local service providers and local attractions (i.e. transportation, restaurant reservations, destination experiences and flight arrangements)
- Oversee the dispatching of Destination Experiences, transfers, private cars and shuttle busses
- Escort Destination Experiences as needed

- Minimum of 3 years of experience relevant Concierge experience in a luxury hotel or on an ultra-luxury Cruise Ship. Similar experience in a shore excursion environment and/or travel and tour planning will also be considered
- Extensive knowledge of world geography, coordination and planning of land-based destination experiences and personalized travel services
- Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
- One or more additional language preferred
- Active membership with “Les Clefs d’Or” preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions which positively impact the overall Resident and Guest experience
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and job-related computer software (Fidelio, Opera, Concierge Assist)
