Ship's Services Engineer

Join us as a Ship’s Services Engineer and you’ll understand that working at sea is more than just a job. It’s a way of life. Managing the technical operation of the ship’s deck and hotel services to make sure they run smoothly and safely, you’ll visit different places, explore new worlds and gain experiences that stay with you for a lifetime.

Drawing on your management experience, you’ll lead, develop and train our deck and hotel engineering team — making sure that maintenance work is carried out in line with all relevant regulations. Enjoying the high profile that comes from deputising for the Staff Chief Engineer, this varied role also involves ensuring that SOLAS equipment is tested, keeping maintenance records, attending corporate social events and liaising with shore teams to encourage collaborative working.

If you’re a team player with the drive to develop your career with a world-leading ship’s company that comprises the prestigious cruise brands, join us on our journey.

Knowledge of marine high voltage, diesel electrical propulsion and class specific propulsion motors, navigation, switchboard and automation control will be essential. Holding a Chief Engineering Officer (STCW Reg III/2) and ENG1 medical certificate for the duration of each voyage too, you’ll also be highly organised and confident tackling the wide range of interesting challenges that arise on board a luxury vessel.
