Junior Assistant Purser / Front Desk Receptionist


As a Junior Assistant Purser you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service with friendliness, empathy, knowledge and accuracy with a resolve to satisfy each guest in line with the Company’s strategy and Core Values.
Job Responsibilities include:

 Provides accurate information and answers to guest / crew questions or concerns.
 Documents and ensures a satisfactory and timely resolution of customer service issues.
 Socializes with and maintains high visibility to guests both on and off duty.
 Assists the Front Desk Supervisor in preparing guest documentation as required.
 Assists the Night Manager in reconciling all charge checks.
 Handles financial transactions and accurately maintains a cash float to be balanced at the end of the day.
 Accesses shipboard account, providing guests with copies of folios on request and detailed explanations in response to any queries.

 Graduate of a recognized hotel or business school
 Minimum of two (2) years’ experience required experience as a Customer Service Agent or Hotel Front Desk Receptionist in an international hotel environment
 Proficiency in the use of computer based programs
 Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
