Chef de Partie Baker (m/f) for luxury Cruise Line


We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie Baker (m/f) for luxury Cruise Line


- reports directly to Chief Baker
- prepare all items required for the daily Menus and special events as instructed by the Chief Baker
- ensure that products are consistently prepared according to the highest possible standards
- ensure that Galley/Bakery equipment is maintained properly, that the highest standards of cleanliness are kept and that safe food handling is practiced at all times
- comply with the latest Health and Sanitation regulations
- communicate with the Chief Baker to keep left over food to a minimum in order to keep the food cost at a minimum
- ensure that Company property is maintained properly and treated with respect at all times


- college degree required and/or Baker Certification or other relevant apprenticeship required
- minimum experience of three years in a luxury international hotel property as a Second
- Baker or a minimum experience of two years in the luxury cruise ship industry as a Second Baker
- a sound knowledge of culinary arts and fine dining is required
- very good spoken English
- good communication skills
- good organizational skills and must show attention to detail
- must be able to remain calm under pressure
- must have an outgoing, charming and friendly personality
