Club Host-Hostess


The recruiter is currently accepting applications on behalf of well-known family cruise line for the position of Club Host.

As Club Host, your will be lead Master of Ceremonies for onboard events & venues. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Set-up/clean-up, facilitation and participation in all activities for an adult and/or family audience.

Activities include, but are not limited to:

- Theme nights and special events
- Day and evening deck parties
- Themed game and trivia shows
- Indoor and outdoor sports themed games and challenges
- Introduction of Guest speakers
- Card/board, pool and island games
- Promote and advertise activities specifically aimed for Adult Guests while partnering with Beverage department on specific ship wide events and activities
- Seek out Guest contact while displaying boundless amounts of energy, outgoing attitude, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
- Learn, follow and perform scripted material and basic choreography

This position:
- Is a shipboard Officer position, reporting to the Assistant Cruise Director
- Has an average contract length of 4 months on, 2 months off
- Has the privilege of a single cabin

- 3 years + experience in a public relations, entertainment, guest services, resort/recreational, or related field
- 3 years + experience working within a position that demonstrates hosting experience, stage experience and public speaking skills
- Strong microphone skills, team skills, detailed, flexible, and committed to Guest Satisfaction
- Aptitude to learn dance routines and to dance in a ‘club’ style setting
- Ability to create and facilitate new activities to increase Guest participation
- Exceptional presentation, communication and organizational skills
- Relates well to audiences of all ages and demographics while offering a passion for engaging an audience in entertaining program and event
- Ability to quickly adapt to an ever-changing environment while demonstrating flexibility
- Experience with sound/DJ equipment
- Maintain performance quality, weight range, vocal, and the ability to perform rehearsed roles
- Ability to perform in environments that have pyrotechnics, chemical smoke, haze, fog, dry ice, and other special effects

Pre-selected candidates will must be prepared to provide a show reel and/or video highlighting hosting abilities.
