BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERDescription: Drive incremental sales by following disciplined completion of established telesales process to identified database of growth accounts through outbound phone calls and a commitment of continued service and account maintenance. Customers: Travel Agent partners Consortium members Sales and Marketing Department colleagues RSSC corporate, reservations and officer/crew team Competencies Key Responsibilities: Execute business development strategy against identified travel agent accounts Follow touch point process and developed scripts to increase frequency of communication to assess agency needs and understand how RSSC’s products can serve their business objectives Meet or exceed daily dial or talk time minimum productivity requirements through outbound sales calls and appointments while following established five step sales process Grow base of agency business Foster increased agency relationships Utilize sales initiatives such as Marketing Amenity Program, National Account programs and other supplemental promotional opportunities to grow business Provide account maintenance and service Educate assigned accounts to effectively sell RSSC Train accounts on RSSC benefits and policies Continuing product education Encourage agents to take online training programs Conduct sales presentations on line Qualify the Customer Update and maintain agency database Capture information relevant to understanding agency’s business Identify how agency goes to market Recommend tools available through RSSC to meet their objectives Work Collaboratively Secure and provide feedback from and to Directors of Sales on accounts Work with Field Sales, Sales Service Representatives and Cruise Reservations to implement sales & service solutions Work with Marketing and IT to suggest tools and processes to benefit entire organization Share best practices with colleagues for mutual success Adhere to corporate policy and direction Job Specific Knowledge and Skills Required: Strong product and destination knowledge Confident phone presence and ability to communicate effectively Requirements: Working knowledge of SalesForce.com or CRM system experience preferred Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Power Point, Excel, Word Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Experience and Education: 2 years experience with outbound sales, preferably business to business Travel industry experience preferred College degree preferred or equivalent work experience This job has expired, so you are not able to apply for it |
