Regional Sales Director-CanadaDescription: Regional Sales Director, Canada (Saskachewan, Manitoba, North and Eastern Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada) We are looking for an experienced sales person that is self motivated and thrives in a dynamic environment. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for developing business in the designated region, exceeding established region sales goals, representing Oceania Cruises at industry events and contributing to overall company success. This individual should be creative and resourceful in managing accounts and sourcing new business. Customers: Travel Agent partners Affinity organizations Consortium members Sales and Marketing Department colleagues OCI corporate team Competencies Key Responsibilities: Exceeds assigned revenue and occupancy goals Maximizes revenue and occupancy production in the designated region Identifies and develops accounts to grow OCI business Sources new business channels Works with aligned Account Executive and Business Development Manager to optimize results Develops Sales and Marketing Plan strategies to effectively grow business Develops and executes region sales and marketing plan including co-op spending plan and schedule for trade and consumer events Manages Co-Op plans and expenditures to ensure alignment with budget. Develops and executes marketing plan with individual agencies with measurable actions Secures, promotes and contracts group promotions using Amenities Program Recommends sales strategies Effectively manages account relationships Conducts regular product and sales training for accounts through a minimum of 15 in-office sales calls per week Fosters top of mind awareness of OCI by key agency personnel through frequent direct contact Educates agents and agency owners on OCI programs, promotions and products Understands and capitalizes on individual account strengths such as database marketing, groups, consumer functions or marketing to create unique solutions per agency Participates with trade shows, seminars, ship inspections and other sales-related functions as appropriate Hosts onboard Seminars as required Manages Sales process effectively Completes weekly sales activity report in SalesForce.Com Partners with Cruise Reservations, Sales Service and Operations to implement sales & service solutions Shares best practices with colleagues for mutual success Uses appropriate resources and sound decision making to resolve complaints, expedite sales and address issues Adheres to corporate policy and direction Manages district cost-effectively and adheres to assigned Marketing & T&E budgets Requirements: Job Specific Knowledge and Skills Required: Familiarity with region, accounts and key decision makers Superior public-speaking and presentation skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of SalesForce.com or other CRM system preferred Hospitality or cruise industry background Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Power Point, Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills Experience and Education: Minimum 5 years of sales experience with at least 3 years of outside/field sales experience College degree preferred or equivalent work experience French speaking preferred This job has expired, so you are not able to apply for it |
