Senior Financial Analyst
Description:
We are currently looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst for the Finance and Planning team at Prestige Cruise Holdings Inc. (PCH), the parent company of Oceania Cruises, Inc. (OCI) and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Inc. (RSSC). This position will report to the Manager of Financial Planning. This individual will be responsible for tracking all departmental G&A budgets & forecasts, and expected to take an active role in preparing monthly forecasts and variance analyses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce monthly variance analysis and departmental review process for all operating groups on G&A expenses meeting with all department heads for reconciling actual results, budgeting, and forecasting
Prepare monthly forecasts for G&A, EBITDA addbacks, insurance and tax expenses and credit card fees
Review and maintain cash receipt model and C&I receipts on monthly basis
Create monthly stats and bookings upload, reclasses, and G&A allocation to accounting
Assist in preparing the monthly management reports and the quarterly financial package
Help consolidate the monthly forecast results, provide value-added analysis for senior management
Help consolidate the annual budget and manage the budget process
Create and maintain various financial models to support Finance Department
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in various projects as requested by management
Will work with all internal departments to compile the company’s overall forecast and budget financial statements
Requirements:
Experience:
Business/financial planning and analysis experience required. Cruise and/or hospitality industry a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with strong spreadsheet modeling and data querying skills.
Inquisitive and analytically minded • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, self start and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, verbal and written and ability to multi-task
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work at all levels and across all functions in the organization
Ability to multi-task is essential.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and presentations
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with solid understanding of GAAP
MBA/CPA a plus
