Crew Air Specialist

Crew Air Specialist
Summary:
Act as primary resource for all customer, corporate or crew related issues pertaining to the standards, implementation and delivery of the air program
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Secure air reservations using free sell, block or charter while adhering to cost guidelines
• Work assigned ships and departments including Sabre airline schedule changes, booking and ticketing
• Monitor air travel reservations for accuracy and cost guidelines and adjust as needed for changes, cancels and final ticketing
• Interact with internal departments and customers as necessary for coordination of air reservations
• Assist with interrupted services in instances of trip delay, strike, weather, delayed ship
• Assist with additional corporate, crew bookings and ticketing when necessary
• Generate air tickets
• Research and resolve debit memo issues
• Ability to read and interoperate crew airline contracts
• Responsible for ticket refunds and lost ticket applications
• Assist with training co-workers when requested
• Assist with other duties assigned by Supervisor, Manager, Director or Vice President
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Proficient Sabre. Two years experience preferred
• Knowledge of World Geography and routing for crew itineraries
• Familiar with Schengen Visa Requirements
• Familiar with airline policy and procedures
• Knowledge of cruise products
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills
• Experience in NVS and MXP
Other Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Self starter and team player
• Flexibility regarding peak-time work requirements
• Proficient in the English language
