Assistant Manager - Front and Back Office


We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our world famous ‘Pursers Office’ team in the role of Assistant Manager.You will support both the front & back of house operations reporting to either the Front of House Manager & the Crew Office Manager. Front of house duties will involve dealing with passenger queries, supporting passenger logistics and immigration and managing the team of receptionists. Back of house duties involve ensuring that our crew get paid & moved around the globe on time, and comply with immigration requirements. Our fleet of luxury vessels range in size from intimately carrying 700 passengers up to 3100 passengers and from 380 up to 1220 crew members. It’s a demanding role that is key to ensuring to passenger and crew satisfaction.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must have 1–2 years supervisory experience in a 4–5 star hotel and have in depth understanding of both front & back of house operations, with excellent customer service skills and cash handling experience. The ideal candidate will also be able to identify areas for improvement, work together as a team to agree on the best possible solution and deliver an outcome that builds on all round guest satisfaction. This role requires someone with excellent administration and organisational skills and must be able to meet deadlines, plan and prioritise workloads.
