POSITIONS

Audio Technician: Responsible for the running of the production and guest artist shows. The technician will oversee the operation of all Audio Systems onboard. Assist other technicians with scenery changeovers and maintenance. The Audio Technician is expected to maintain and inspect all audio equipment and to track inventory in order to ensure that all related equipment and supplies are available for the shows. This person must also be available to assist other technicians whenever needed.

Automation Technician: Responsible for the movement of all automated stage equipment, rigging and safety devices, and safety of personnel on stage. The technician will also supervise all scenic changeovers. The position is responsible for operating, maintaining and programming the stage automation control systems.

Broadcast Technician: Responsible for the total operation of the Broadcast Center, as well as the recording of various passenger events around the ship.

Lighting Technician: Responsible for the basic maintenance, repair and operation of Entertainment Lighting Systems for all shows. The technician will also perform preventive maintenance & basic repair on lighting systems, while assisting other technicians with scenery changovers and maintenance. The Lighting Technician is expected to maintain and inspect all lighting equipment and to track inventory in order to ensure that all related equipment and supplies are available for the shows. This person must also be available to assist other technicians whenever needed.

Lounge Technician: Responsible for the set-up and operation of a wide variety of Audio/Visual equipment required to support various activities, shows and Variety Artists. The technician will also perform preventive maintenance & general cleaning of all technical entertainment equipment, including safe and proper storage. The Lounge Technician is expected to maintain and inspect all equipment and to track inventory in order to ensure that all props and items are available for the shows. This person must also be available to assist other technicians whenever needed.

Stage Technician: Responsible for the basic maintenance, repair and operation of live stage and backstage equipment for all shows performed in the main theatres. The technician will also perform preventive maintenance & basic repair on scenery including general carpentry, scenic painting, automation cleaning, replacement of bulbs, and other maintenance responsibilities as required. The Stage Technician is expected to maintain inspect all equipment and to track inventory in order to ensure that all props and items are available for the shows. This person must also be available to assist other technicians whenever needed. The technician must be able to understand and react quickly to new directions in a fast-paced environment.
