The Fabulous Role
Working onboard one of the gorgeous ships in the family's fleet, you will be the figure-head and ambassador for the company. Acting as the first point of contact when the new and returning crew come onboard the ship, you will be welcoming them to 'ship-life' and the company arena. The incredible position will see you running differing presentations to the crew including induction (health and safety, company history, mission and vision and more) plus working alongside the senior leaders (including the Safety Officer) to support the onboard learning function. Part of the HR team, you will be reporting to the HR Manager onboard.

The position will also involve running TNA's in the ship departments to look at ways to even further enhance the talent and service excellence at sea. Working with different 'measures' to show your positive business impact, you will be able to look at pre and post data which supports your 'effective change to the operation'. Happy to discuss this even more when we talk! Working 7 days a week for your contract, you will be always smartly presented and if invited, able to 'host a table' in the dining room, attend Captain's Cocktails and be a role model for the crew at sea.

You the Brilliant Professional:

You will be brilliant at facilitation and able to hold the attention of delegates whom might not wish to be in the training session. You will have trained sessions including ‘Leadership Development’ and ‘Performance Management’ as well as ‘Induction and H&S’. You will be able to approach the role as a ‘consultant’ with the ‘how can I help’ approach.

Your presentation style will be refreshing and exciting…we are not looking for ‘Death by PowerPoint’ here. Have you heard of ‘Prezi’? If so, you are the sort of professional we think would be great for this role…dynamic, colourful, a different approach, sparkling and fresh! This role will be about creating relationships with the on-board leaders and officers. Working with the shipboard HR Managers you will arrive at the ship and run certain training sessions…and maybe some TNA…followed by some coaching…and measuring your success to the business which you have helped implement through your training skills.

Your networking ability will be superb…and push-back won’t faze you in the slightest. In fact you will eat it for breakfast and it will drive you on even more so to help get the message across to those whom need it most. Are you tough, passionate and keen to make a difference to a massive organisation? If so, I would love to hear from you…and please do ensure you have your Skype ID on your CV / resume for us to discuss this opportunity…thanks.
