Junior Assistant Food And Beverage Manager




Description:

Main duties:

- Responsible to ensure that all aspects of the Responsible Service of Alcohol policies and procedures are met and adhered to by passengers and fellow crew throughout the vessel.

- In conjunction with the Storekeeper, provide analysis of bar stores consumption to assist the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars) with the ordering of supplies.

- Input in the computer all bar stock received including any inter-ship transfers.

- Account for any stock transfers between onboard locations.

- In conjunction with the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars), compile a physical inventory routine for each location. Verify levels of inventory at least once per cruise or more, if required, e.g. crew bar daily or any bar where high variances are occurring.

- Input physical bar stock counts into the computer system and analyze results highlighting the discrepancies for additional counts to review. All major discrepancies are to be conveyed to the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars).

- In conjunction with the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars), periodically hold spot checks or physical inventory held in bars, bar stores, main storerooms and cellars.

Requirements:

- Maintain the Bar Master File, Bar Ingredient File and P.O.S. keyboard arrangements.

- Prepare the physical inventory analysis for the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars).

- Prepare daily revenue analysis by bar location for the Staff First Purser F&B and First Purser F&B, as well as the Food & Beverage Manager and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Bars) and compare against previous results and against budgets set by PCSC.

- Assist with bar rounds as required by the Food & Beverage Manager.

- Be conversant with USPH standards and requirements.

- Attend passenger cocktail parties as required.
