Manager Guest Operations Analytics




Description:

Provide senior management decision support to operational teams and senior management, focusing on hotel projects to cross-functional teams in the organization.
Lead a team of analysts.
Develop, track and analyze recommendations for strategic initiatives.
Reports to Director Operation Performance & AnalysisIndirect reporting line to senior vice president of guest commerce.
Supervises analysts from a pool in a project/task basis.

Requirements:

Provide decision support for senior management.
Lead profitability improvement initiatives across several shipboard operations functions.
Develop business plans and investment return analyses.
Gather input from several stakeholders.
Develop implementation plan, timelines and responsibility.
Track progress through reporting.
Manage, lead and develop a team of analysts.
Support budget and forecast process as needed.
Support high priority, highly visible shipboard strategic initiatives across the business.
Act as direct point of contact for project manager or operational teams.
Challenge incudes ability to learn and grasp the framework/complexity of project, managing expectations across channels and delivering results.
May provide guidance to Finance Department.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Engineering or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background, skills and experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in related role performing extensive, complex modeling.
Management consulting preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Applied knowledge of financial database system.
High-level proficiency with financial statement analysis.
Knowledge of overall business strategy and operations including business processes, revenue and cost components and drivers of these measures.
Applied knowledge of profitability and return on investment modeling.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Organizational skills to coordinate action plans and implement actionable strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills to deliver effective and informative material.
Ability to adapt easily to change in dynamic environment.
Ability to clearly communicate complex analysis to varying management levels using a simple and understandable approach.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and provide support as needed.
