Casting Supervisor




Description:

We are a group of creative and driven individuals who just love seeing our guests entertained. We work in a fun filled, fast paced, deadline driven, and yes sometimes stressful environment. We have an exciting opportunity for someone with recruiting/hiring experience to join us and bring knowledge and passion in finding the best people to work on our ships that sail throughout the world.

You'll be responsible for:

Sourcing, recruiting and developing a pipeline of candidates for a variety of positions such as cruise staff, technician and host.

Conducting in depth interviews to determine a candidate's real abilities and fit.

Working with "hiring managers" on selecting the best candidates.

Negotiating/closing job offers and gaining commitment.

Scheduling assignments for both new and current employees throughout our fleet using our proprietary scheduling program.

Monitoring employee performance.

Initial paperwork and onboarding.

Some other projects that will come up occasionally.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
Ideally you'll have:

At least 3 years' experience as a recruiter or with recruiting as a significant part of your job.

Proven success using a wide variety of both traditional and innovative techniques in sourcing candidates and building a qualified pool. You don't just post a job and wait for them to come.

The kind of personality that loves a challenge, thrives in a fast paced environment and is creative.

Great people skills and the ability to influence.

Excellent organizational skills.

A good working knowledge of common Microsoft products.

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
